Julie has experience working in a variety of settings where she has had opportunity to apply her knowledge in psychology and human behaviour. In a private practice setting she has worked with families and individuals to help them overcome difficulties and reach their optimum potential in their personal capacity. In the business context, Julie offers on-site counselling for employees and managers at their relevant businesses. This is aimed at helping employees and managers to enhance their productivity and motivation in the workplace. Additionally, Julie is a certified user of the Occupational Personality Questionnaire designed specifically for use within organisational and industrial psychology. She has a broad array of experience in administration and interpretation of psychometrics for purposes including selection and development of employees.
Julie has a passion for working with teams and groups. She has designed and facilitated life-skills workshops to students at a tertiary level, as well as to team leaders on topics such as stress management. She has also lectured psychology and psychometric modules at an undergraduate and postgraduate level.
