Dr Andrew Brough is a international learning consultant, organizational development practitioner, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

As a facilitator, lecturer and broadcaster, Andy's wide ranging professional experience includes over 20 years as a communications and training consultant. Andy has invested more than half of that time working as an Executive Business coach specialising in Sales & Marketing and Leadership related subjects. He is well known in the industry for his work teaching Stakeholder Collaboration and Commercial Negotiation. He has lectured on Principles of Strategic Marketing, Professional Selling, and Negotiation and Influencing Results on a number of MBA programmes. 

As a qualified Chartered Marketer- the top professional marketing designation in South Africa - Andy consults for and with many international blue chip companies around issues pertaining to individual and team development. His research and facilitation in both an African and European context means that he brings a professional understanding to issues around diversity, teamwork and leadership.

As a student of Leadership & Management, Andy has spent his career trying to understand the keys to successful leadership and organizational development and he has had the privilege of sharing these insights to audiences around the world through keynote speeches, seminars, face-to-face contact sessions and webinars and teleconferences. Andy is part the faculty of a global management development team (TMA World) and is often asked to form part of the external faculty at a number of universities. 

Professional Background:

Andy has designed and delivered a wide variety of programs ranging from basic Life Skills through to Global Corporate Branding through South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, and as far a field as Malaysia, Germany, England, Eastern Europe, Brazil and the USA. As a big picture-bottom line thinker, Andy facilitates around organizational and management development in Strategic Planning, as well as Transformational Leadership, Personal Effectiveness, and Stakeholder Relationships His client base is made up of some of the world's top brands as well as smaller to medium enterprises who all testify to the benefit of working with Andy and his team. 

Andy has a passion for working in both the broadcast and narrow cast media (both satellite television and the virtual classroom) as means of distance learning - and writes, broadcasts and presents targeted educational programmes for corporate clients.

Andy has a Ph.D in Business Management and his research explored the relationship between responsible leadership and corporate reputation. He is also a member of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa and the Global Speakers Federation.

Andy works to help learners understand how an individual's values and beliefs influence attitudes that determine behaviour, team effectiveness and potential. He prides himself on using a principle-based approach to training of "Equipping for Excellence" by demonstrating transfer of skills in an "applied-learning" context.
