Stakeholder Collaboration Programme

2011 sees the launch of a new range of programmes for Brough Leadership Institute. These programmes form part of a suite of core leadership, management and marketing modules that are offered in-house.

Our newest offering, designed by Andrew Brough, as part of his final submission to Regent University as a culminating project in Organizational Leadership, examines the role of the Leader as Stakeholder Collaborator.

This course is offered as a bespoke, in-company, programme  and can be delivered in various formats (including virtual classroom). Run over two days, the programme examines:

  • The Business Case for Stakeholder Collaboration
  • What is a Stakeholder?
  • The STAKE model of Stakeholder Engagement
  • Strategic Thinking and Stakeholder Mapping
  • Terms of Engagement
  • Ability to Respond
  • Key Operatives
  • Effective Learning and Review

The programme challenges leaders to examine the links between leadership, organizational values, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reputation.

This programme has already been run in conjunction with the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria). Clearly, in the fields of organizational, and leadership development, (and marketing), there is a need to include more specific emphasis on the necessity and value of stakeholder collaboration.
